THE KIM PEPPARD MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

2006

The Friends of Moss Landing Marine Laboratories (MLML) is pleased to announce the 2006 Kim Peppard Memorial Scholarship. The Kim Peppard Memorial Scholarship is now funded through the generosity of Friends of MLML. One scholarship of $1000 will be awarded to an MLML graduate student who shows exceptional promise of succeeding in a marine science career.

The applicant should:

1) Be a currently registered graduate student in good academic standing at MLML; and

2) Have an MLML thesis advisor and an approved thesis proposal.

Applicants for the Kim Peppard Scholarship should submit the following materials to the Faculty Selection Committee, via Lisa Uttal, Executive Director, by Friday, March 24th, 2006

1) A cover letter;

2) A description of thesis work and career plans (maximum 2 pages);

3) A Curriculum Vitae (maximum 2 pages).
