"To support research, education and conservation at MLML"

Friends of MLML sponsors a bi-monthly Science Cafes @ the Marine Labs featuring speakers from
MLML and other marine science institutions. Recent talks have covered such diverse
topics such as El Niño, intertidal ecology and conservation, deep sea denizens,
mysterious fish toxins, and the relationship between Ed Ricketts and John Steinbeck.

Science Cafes are held on the second Wednesday in odd numbered months at 7:00 p.m. at
Moss Landing Marine Laboratories, 8272 Moss Landing Road. Seminars are
co-sponsored by Friends of MLML and the Moss Landing Chamber of Commerce. All Friends of MLML Science Cafes are free and open to the public.
